 VOLAR - FLY
La incapacidad del hombre de volar como la aves,
encadenado al suelo por la invisibles leyes gravitacionales
y sus congénitas limitaciones: el hombre intentó retomar el vuelo
buscando una reafirmación de su idea de libertad.
Conoció muchos fracasos fatales, pero la obsesión profunda de
conquistar los cielos fue más poderosa que el temor a la muerte.
Ensayo tras ensayo, error tras error, vida tras vida,
construyó máquinas que burlaron el imperio de la física y lo
llevaron a alturas que ninguna otra criatura viviente habría alcanzado jamás.
Hoy el hombre puede volar, y asimismo sentir cuan libre es.
Man's incapability to fly like birds,
subjugated him on the ground due to the invisible gravitational laws
and its congenital limitations; man tried to take the flight
looking for an afirmation of his idea of freedom.
He encountered lots of fatal failures, but the deep obsession
to conquer the sky was more powerful that the fear of death.
Attempt after attempt, test after test, life after life,
he built machines that frustrated the empire of physics and took him
to altitudes that no other living creature has never reached.
Today man can fly and feel how free he is.Volar es un sentimiento. La grandeza que siente el hombre al percibir como atraviesa un grupo de nubes va más alla de lo imaginable. Cuando el avión realiza sus banqueos la sensibilidad de la gravedad toma posesión de nuestros cuerpos sin dejar el celo de sentir que pretendemos ser un ave, muchos lo hemos sentido; cuando nos pegamos a la ventanilla de los aviones y vemos carreteras, edifícios, carros, montañas pasar y por un momento nos perdemos dentro de la misma vista, y mientras esto sucede el piloto toma su equipo y realiza el trabajo de un hombre, enfrentando su conocimineto y habilidad y la capacidad de la máquina contra el viento, la meteorología y la distancia. To fly is a feeling. The greatness that man feels when it crosses a group of clouds goes beyond the imagination. As the airplane makes its turns, the sensitivity of the gravity takes possession of our bodies without letting go the fervor that we feel as to act as bird. Many of us have felt it; when we stick to the window of the airplanes and see highways, buildings, cars, mountains passing by and for a moment we lose ourselves within the view, and while this happens the pilot takes his equipment and completes the work of a man, facing his knowledge, ability and the capacity of the machine against the wind, weather and distance. El resultado final es el transporte de personas y bienes, el tiempo ahorrado, las vidas salvadas, las barreras superadas y un mundo que se vuelve más pequeño y las distancias sólo son valores económicos. A nivel individual el vuelo puede ser un arte tan grande como la música y la danza; también puede ser un trabajo penoso. A menudo el vuelo salva vidas. Se puede llevar rápidamente durante la noche la sangre que necesita urgentemente un paciente de un hospital. Un niño con quemaduras graves puede tener la oportunidad de sobrevivir al ser evacuado por aire a un centro de tratatamiento de quemados situado a 300 millas de su casa. Miles de heridos de guerra deben su vida a los helicópteros de rescate, de la misma manera miles han sido víctimas de una bomba lanzada desde un pájaro de metal, todo esto es parte de la compleja simbiosis del uso del avión. The final result is the transport of people and goods, the time saved, the lives rescued, the surpassed barriers in a world that becomes smaller and distances are just economical values.
In a individual level, flight can be great as art, music and dance; at the same time it can be a laborious work.
Often the flight saves lives. The blood can be taken to a hospital quickly during the night to a patient who urgently needs it. A boy with serious burns can have the opportunity to survive by being evacuated by air to a trauma center located to 300 miles from his house. Thousands of military soldiers owe their life to rescue helicopters, in the same way thousands have been victims of a bomb dropped from a aircraft bomber. All of this is part of the complex symbiosis of the use of the airplane.  Hoy el hombre no solo ve el azul de cielo como el límite, hay un nuevo desafío en el oscuro espacio y el misterio de sus planetas. La tecnología aeronáutica avanza a la misma velocidad de sus aviones. La lucha por llegar más lejos, llevar más, ser más invisible y cada vez más económico ya no es un sueño inalcanzable, cada vez tiende a mejorar el uso del avión y en muchos casos es parte del equilibro en la estabilidad de un posible conflicto bélico.
Today the not only man sees the blue one of sky like the limit, is a new challenge in the dark space and the mystery of his planets. The aeronautical technology advances at the same speed of its airplanes.
The fight to arrive farther, to take more, to be invisible and more and more economic id no longer an unattainable dream each attempts, every time tends to improve the use of the airplane and in many cases it is part of the balance in the stability of a possible warlike conflict. Se discute mucho en dónde empezó todo, muchos nombran a Leonardo Da Vinci y sus dibujos, otros glorifican a los hermanos Wright, otros a los chinos y sus globos, bien sin importar quien fue el primero o el mejor, nunca existirá el último que intente mejorar la aviación en todos sus aspectos.
Hoy, los pajáros de metal remontan el vuelo a diario llevando consigo un soñador tras su mando. Much is discussed about where everything began. Many name Leonardo Da Vinci and its drawings, others glorify the Wright brothers, others the Chinese and their globes, without mattering who were the first or best ones. There will a final one that tries to improve aviation in all its aspects.
Today, the birds of metal overcome the daily flight carrying a dreamer under its controls.
